Susan Glassick is a Credentialed Mental Health Nurse, General Nurse, Midwife, and Women’s Health Nurse with a Master of Nursing.  She has focused her services on the health and wellbeing of women, and is built on a deep understanding of the unique factors that shape women’s mental health – including hormonal changes, trauma, societal expectations, and the complexities of motherhood. Susan’s commitment to gender-sensitive care began in the early 1990s and continues to guide her holistic, trauma-informed approach today.

Drawing from a rich clinical background in community mental health, perinatal care, and adolescent services, Susan offers tailored counselling that empowers women to explore their stories and restore wellbeing. Her therapeutic toolkit includes evidence-based modalities like CBT, EMDR, ACT, and mindfulness, as well as creative and somatic techniques that support healing and growth. Whether helping clients process trauma, loss, prepare or recover from birth, or overcome anxiety and depression, Susan meets each woman with compassion and respect.

What sets Susan apart is her eclectic approach and innovative delivery of care. Clients can choose from in-room sessions or Telehealth, and where suitable home visits, or her signature Walk and Talk therapy – an active, outdoor approach that blends movement with meaningful conversation. With every step, Susan fosters connection, safety, and empowerment, making mental health support more accessible and attuned to the rhythms of women’s lives.
